In Loving Memory of Noel Kilcullen | Enniscrone, Co. Sligo Tribute (2026)

A life well-lived and a peaceful passing - that's the story of Noel Kilcullen, whose journey has come to an end. Surrounded by the warmth of his family and friends, Noel bid farewell at Abbey Haven Nursing Home in Boyle, Co. Roscommon.

Noel leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He was predeceased by his beloved mother, Helen, and his grandparents, Andrew and Elizabeth. His brothers-in-law, Bob and Neil, also preceded him in death.

But here's where it gets controversial... Noel's passing has left a void in the hearts of his closest companions. He is survived by his devoted wife, Bridie, and their three loving children: Shirley, Helen, and Alan. The family's grief is palpable as they mourn the loss of their beloved father and husband.

And this is the part most people miss... Noel's impact extended beyond his immediate family. He is sadly missed by his grandchildren, Anna, Andrew, and David, who will forever cherish the memories they shared. His daughter-in-law, Nikki, and sons-in-law, Paul and Brian, also feel the weight of his absence.

Furthermore, Noel's sister, Maureen, and his extended family, including brothers-in-law Willie and Gerry, sisters-in-law Mary, Chris, and Madeline, nephews, nieces, and a wide circle of relatives and friends, all feel the loss deeply.

May Noel's soul find eternal peace.

Reposing at McGowan's Funeral Home in Ballina (F26 V274) on Friday evening from 5:30 to 7:00, the family invites those who wish to pay their respects.

On Saturday, Noel's funeral procession will make its way to The Church of our Lady Assumed into Heaven in Enniscrone for a Requiem Mass at 12 noon. The final resting place will be St. Patrick's Cemetery in Kilglass.

For those unable to attend in person, Noel's funeral Mass will be live-streamed on www.churchtv.ie/enniscrone, allowing friends and family near and far to participate in this solemn occasion.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Western Alzheimer's, which can be made through McGowan's Funeral Home in Ballina or online at westernalzheimers.ie/how-to-donate/.

As we reflect on Noel's life, let us remember the impact he had on those around him. His memory will live on through the love and support of his family and the kindness he showed to others.
